Has an oppressive religious culture  or toxic workplace made you feel worthless?

It’s not your fault.

Our bodies are brilliant at surviving sudden, physical crises with brute force and bursts of energy. But the stresses we face in our society today look a lot different than lunging leopards. They lurk quietly, chronically, in the stories we tell about our world and what it means to be human. When those stresses don’t get released, we turn them inward on ourselves.

I help survivors of toxic religious cultures and toxic work environments get back in touch with who they truly want to be.

My journey includes both religious trauma from growing up in fundamentalism and compassion fatigue from my time as a pastor.

Educating myself about how trauma and stress work in the body was a key piece of my healing, and it can be a key piece of your process too.

You already have what you need to heal.

Our bodies, including our psyches, are self-healing organisms.

The anxiety, numbness, and exhaustion you feel now are leftovers from surviving the impossible. Sometimes that survival response slows our healing process, but when we understand it from a place of compassion, we can move forward toward growth.

With cutting edge science, compassion, and body-awareness, it is possible to find peace while living with integrity.

As a coach, I focus on what’s right with you. Together, we coax out your healing and growth until you get to be who you want to be instead of who you needed to be to survive.
